Before starting DCSS, I spent more than a decade writing software for the machines that build semiconductor chips, at companies including Qorvo, EVGroup, and Veeco/Ultratech. In a chip factory, software that crashes stops a production line, so you learn to build things that keep working.
Now I build websites and web applications for small businesses around Portland. The tools are different, but the standard is the same: clean code, fast pages, and nothing fragile bolted on.
How I Work
- Every site is hand-coded in React and Next.js. No WordPress, no templates, and no plugins to renew or patch.
- I don't design from scratch. I build to your designer's spec, or connect you with a designer I trust, then handle the full build myself.
- You get a fixed-price quote before any work starts, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
- You deal with me directly, from the first call to launch and any changes after.
